Quality Control Technician (CDI)

Company Overview
Kimialys is an innovative industrial company specializing in in vitro analysis, with applications centered
around K-One®, a patented surface treatment technology developed over a decade at ENS Paris-Saclay. Our
mission: enabling the development of tomorrow’s diagnostics and therapeutics.
The company comprises fifteen employees, including ten chemists and engineers specialized in biosensors.
Our clients include developers of rapid and point-of-care diagnostic tests as well as pharmaceutical
laboratories in the drug discovery and clinical development phases.

Responsibilities
As Kimialys’ production activity is increasing, we are seeking for a Quality Control Technician to ensure that
each intermediate or final product released complies with our quality standards. You will join a team of 6
people focused on our Nanoparticle activity, and be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Performing physicochemical analyses of raw materials, reaction intermediates, and finished
    products;
  • Verifying results against specifications and complete qualification/validation documents;
  • Preparing quality control reports and certificates of conformity for each production batch;
  • Calibrating and maintaining production and R&D equipment;
  • Complying with HSE guidelines, procedures, and the existing quality system;
  • Ensuring the production of reaction intermediates;
    Note that the above list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented based on activity or Kimialys’ strategy
    evolution.

Qualifications

  • Graduate with a 2-year or 3-year degree in Biophysics, including Quality Control;
  • First experience in physico-chemical characterizations for quality control would be highly
    appreciated;
  • Background in nanomaterial characterization would be a plus (UV-vis, DLS, Zeta Potential, TEM), but
    not required.
